These past few days, an intergenerational group of women of color and LGBTQ veterans (yes, veterans) from all over the nation have been producing their own digital stories about their experiences with militarism and
how their identities have been shaped by these experiences.
Tomorrow, November 11th (Veterans’ Day) the The Women of Color Resource Center will bring their courage and stories directly to Oakland.
Hearing these untold stories and seldom-heard and unique voices! Many of the participants will be
speaking on a Q & A panel. The event promises to be a powerful evening.
