Design: Quick and Dirty

This little gem is kind-of a commercial for design. An impetus to learn about the theory. I especially love Paul Rand‘s little vocabulary list, what he calls “the language of form.”

Tension, I believe, is the most important. Tension is what takes something that’s good and makes it great.

I was also reminded of Peter Gizzi‘s adage, “Don’t try to be a great poet. Just try to write great poems.”
